The reviews on this blog are 5-star ratings based on my opinion. The reviews that I share on my blog are all about sharing some of the books I have read, enjoyed and recommend.
As part of this blog, because I love books, I love to read, and I enjoy discussing books and sharing recommendations with others, I will from time to time review books/e-books (Nook e-reader), that I have either purchased myself, received as a gift from family or friends, borrowed from a library, or received for free from authors. I also accept ARC's from authors and publishers.
Unfortuantely, I cannot accept every request I receive due to the other demands of my time. If I am unable to fulfill a request I will notify the author/publisher and state such. I will do my best to have the requests I accept for reviews, completed in a timely manner. Generally, the turn around time from review request to posting of the review will consist of three weeks or a mutally agreed upon time between myself and the author/publisher. If for some reason, I am unable to complete the request in the agreed-upon time-frame I will contact the author/publisher and make satisfactory arrangements, which may consist of allowing another reviewer to read and post a review.
The reviews that I post are my honest opinion and my opinion only. The reviews that I post are from books/e-books that I have read completely. In addition, I may also post reviews at BarnesandNoble.com, Goodreads, Smashwords and other sites that the author/publisher and I agree upon.
The mystery sub-categories that I will review are as follows: Cozy Mysteries, Supernatural/Paranormal Mysteries, Amateur Sleuth Mysteries, Professional Sleuth, Private Eye, Caper, Historical Mysteries, Romantic Suspense, and Themed Mysteries. I may also read and review other books/e-books including non-fiction.
I do not receive, nor will I accept payment for the reviews or interviews that I post on this blog or at other venues. At the end of each review I will provide an FTC Full Disclosure statement documenting if the book/e-book was obtained as a free copy from the author/publisher, an ARC from the author/publisher, a book/e-book that I borrowed from the library, purchased myself or received as a gift from family or friends. Receiving a free copy or ARC does not and will not influence my opinion of the book/e-book. The books/ebooks that I read and review are chosen by me.
